Dedication
I here remember Henry Choy:
Who guided my first tottering steps in spiritual infancy, and taught me how to walk in Christ not by words alone but by life example — a man totally committed to the truth, to Christ.
And who, in the end, sealed his commitment with his blood in some remote, unknown labor camp. Habakkuk’s commitment encapsulates Henry’s way of life:
“Though the fig tree does not bud
and there is no fruit on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will triumph in Yahweh;
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!
Yahweh my Lord is my strength.”
Habakkuk 3:17-19 (HCSB)
